Clothespin Candle Supplies:
20 clothespins
small piece of cardboard
1 tuna can (or similar)
permanent markers in various colors
tea light,
pencil
ruler
First, pin clothes pins to cardboard. I did this in two steps because my cardboard was a bit too small. Then, sketch your design onto the clothespins. Next, color the pins using your permanent markers. Repeat process on opposite side of pins. Lastly, simply clip the pins onto the aluminum can and drop in your tea light! The possibilities are endless with this simple DIY project because it is so simple to decoupage the aluminum can and clothes pins, dye the wood, or even wood burn or carve shapes into them. But, I’ll save those tutorials for another day! -Ruth-
