Caramel milkshakes are one of my favorite things about Summer and since the warm days are coming to a close here in Texas, I want to take a moment and reminisce about all the wonderful things I will miss about the season. This is one of them…my all-time favorite way to eat ice cream. In fact, I’m not even a fan of ice cream unless it’s melted or blended. Can you believe that? I only take my ice cream melted! For this homemade specialty, I used 2 cups of vanilla ice cream, a dash of vanilla, 1 cup of cold milk, 1/3 cup caramel topping, and an obscene amount of whipped cream.
